Bathroom exhaust fans

A bathroom without a window needs an exhaust fan to clear steam and stop mould. Fans can go in the ceiling, a wall or a window pane. We wire the fan to the light switch or its own switch, and can add a timer so it keeps running for a few minutes after you leave.

Cutting glass or drilling through a concrete wall needs a glazier or extra hacking, which we quote separately.

Kitchen hood installation

A cooker hood should be mounted at the height given in its manual, usually 65 to 75cm above the hob, with its own 13A socket away from the heat. Many Klang Valley kitchens have the socket in the wrong place or none at all, so the hood ends up on an extension cord.

We fit the hood, add or move the point and connect the ducting. Hacking a new duct hole through an outside wall is quoted separately.

Doing the hob and oven at the same time

If you are renovating the kitchen, it is cheaper to do the hood, hob and oven in one visit. Built-in ovens and induction hobs need their own dedicated circuit from the DB box, which costs RM300 to RM500.
